How to choose a tire shredder supplier?

Author : yuxi | Last Updated :

Choosing a reliable equipment supplier is crucial to your production operations for years, even decades, to come.

1. “Can you provide a trial run for my specific material?”

Why it’s important: Talking on paper is always insufficient. Bringing your scrap tires (especially difficult-to-handle materials like truck tires and steel wire tires) to the manufacturer for an on-site trial run is the most direct way to verify equipment performance. Observe the equipment’s operating stability, noise levels, material output, and oil leaks.

2. “What brand and material are the core components (such as the spindle, cutting tools, and bearings)? Can you provide material certification?”

Why it’s important: The durability of your equipment depends on the quality of its core components. Require the manufacturer to clearly state whether the spindle is forged or cast, the specific material code for the cutting tools, and the brand of the bearings (such as SKF, NSK, etc.). Reputable manufacturers are happy to provide these certifications, but be wary of vague ones.

3. “What exactly does the equipment’s after-sales service system include? What is the response time?”

Why it’s important: Even the best equipment may require maintenance.

Be sure to clarify: the warranty period, including the warranty period for the entire machine and its core components. Technical Support: Do you provide free installation guidance and debugging? Do you offer remote online support?

Accessories: Are common accessories in stock? How long is the delivery cycle?
